We’re Elevator Operator, a positive-vibe, indie/alt rock band from Olympia, Washington putting out high-frequency originals and uplifting audiences!🎵❤️🎹🎸🥁🌞🌈⚡We love writing and playing songs –how we get goose bumps when it feels right– and how music uplifts us! Our shows journey into the heart, through the good times and the bad, leaving listeners feeling inspired to live life to the fullest. They are a celebration, a ceremony of gratitude for this life.

Elevator Operator was originally founded as Waking Bear in 2018 by songwriters Noah Bears R. and Ivy Jordanne. In 2024 Waking Bear rebirthed itself as Elevator Operator. We’re the same band with all the same players, but now with a name that better fits the intention of our music: to inspire and uplift, to keep returning to how lucky we are to be here and to be alive!   

Our first full-length album, Trust Fall, was released in early 2021 under Waking Bear. This heartfelt album weaves together themes of trusting the universe, in something greater than ourselves, and that all is working out for the highest good.
