We’re Elevator Operator—a positive-vibe indie/alt-rock band from Olympia, Washington, putting out high-frequency originals and uplifting audiences!  We love writing and playing songs—the goosebumps we get when it feels right—and how music lifts us up. Our shows journey into the heart, through the good times and the bad, inspiring us to return to appreciation, to love, to trust, and to live in our hearts. Music is our celebration; shows are our ceremonies of gratitude for this life.

Elevator Operator was founded as Waking Bear in 2018 by songwriters Noah Bears R. and Ivy Jordanne. In 2024, Waking Bear rebirthed itself as Elevator Operator—a name that better fits the intention of our music: to inspire and uplift, to keep returning to how grateful we are to be alive, and to have people we love!
